After "Steel City," with several projects in development, I was offered a chance to direct "The Coverup," about the wrongful death lawsuit of Kevin Thacker in 1984. Initially skeptical, I decided to take the assignment due to its 'David vs. Goliath' aspect. Unfortunately, the project fell short of expectations, suffered from implicit bias, and ultimately resulted in a Cable release on Lifetime Movie Network.
